Hi. I'm new to your work but am keen on building a workbench to start woodworking (total beginner). I'm interested in the portable workshop for its compact size when not in use.
My question is around the supports for the side tables and how stable they are for practical use? With the weight of the tool already on the side bench and they are only held by 2 pieces of short material.
How has this gone for anyone who has built the workshop?
Do the side tables move around?
Is it level?
Have they ever fallen under weight?
Thanks. I look forward to your responses.
Regards, Roger

Stability of folding sides
At least in my case, after several months of use, I haven't had any problems with the supports. They can support the weight of the tool quite well. It's true that when you're building it, you have to level the three lids, but once this is done, they stay like that.
It's true that the bigger the base of the tool is, the more stable it will be, like my first table saw. However, you will need more space, of course.
